Hypsometric Map

This Hypsometric Map is an aerial view of Dummerston, Vermont. It is a surface map with relief shown and three dimensional information is being communicated. When looking at the map it is clear that the mountains and hills are raised above the rest of the land. The hills and mountains are considered the third dimension and are represented by color, shaping, contour lines, and raised relief. As you can see the land is colored green and yellow and the mountains and hills are gray.
