Bathymetric Map

This is a Bathymetric Map which shows the sea level elevation of Latin America. When you look at the map you can see how the Puerto Rico trench and the North American plate come together to form a massive trench before the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Hispanlola. This map clearly shows how the elevation drastically decreases into the trench and then raises back up before hitting land.
