Histogram

A histogram is a graphical display of tabulated frequencies. It shows you what proportion of cases fall into each of several categories. There is a difference between a histogram and a bar chart in the sense that it is the area of the bar that indicates the value, not the height, which is a huge difference when the variables aren't at the same width. This histogram above shows the distributions of jockeys.
